What does a WordPress maintenance plan include?
Hostoral Care includes monthly WordPress core, plugin and theme updates, PHP kept up to date, weekly off-server backups kept for 30 days, 24/7 uptime monitoring, one small fix each month and a 1-page monthly report.
What if an update breaks my site?
We take a backup right before updating and check the site afterwards. If anything looks wrong, we roll it back from that backup and fix it before you even notice. This is included.
How much does WordPress maintenance cost?
Hostoral Care costs $15 per site per month, with no setup fee and no contract. Three sites cost $45 a month. Join before 30 November and your first month is free.
Can I use Hostoral Care on a site hosted somewhere else?
Yes. Hostoral Care works for any WordPress site, wherever it is hosted. Just add the site in your account after checkout and tell us where it is hosted. Prefer to move? Hostoral WordPress hosting starts at $15 a year, with free migration.
Do I need to give you any logins?
Only if your site is hosted somewhere else. Then we ask for a WordPress admin login and FTP or cPanel access, which you add in your account. They are stored encrypted, and you can create a separate admin user for us. If your site is hosted at Hostoral, we already have access, so you don't need to share anything.
Do you look after WooCommerce stores?
Yes. WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so a store is covered like any other site: we back it up before every update and check the shop still works afterwards.
What counts as a "small fix"?
Anything we can do in about 30 minutes: changing text or images, fixing a broken link or form, adjusting a menu, tweaking a plugin setting. Bigger jobs get a quote first. Unused fixes don't roll over.
Where are the backups stored?
In separate storage, away from your hosting server, so a problem with the server doesn't affect your backups. We keep 30 days of weekly backups and restore them for free.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. It's month to month with no contract. Cancel from Client login and Care stops at the end of your current month. Your hosting is not affected.
How does the launch offer work?
Join before 30 November and your first month is free. After that it's $15 per site per month. You can cancel before the first payment if it's not for you.
